Gå-hjem-møde: Mobile services across media - What can they do?
Increasingly, mobile units contain some of the same features that were reserved the PC earlier. That makes it possible to combine interesting and advanced content with different platforms that for example combine living pictures with the mobile telephone or the PDA or supplement the mobile access with context-dependent parametres
At the so-called gå-hjem-møde (post-workday meeting) Crossroads Copenhagen invited everybody to experience three new exciting presentations of mobile services across media.
During the three hours, the participants were offered:
- Exciting demos from the Crossroads Copenhagen pilot-project on learning via the PDA (handheld terminals), a visionary student project from The IT University of Copenhagen and a research project from Risø about voice-controlled journals via the PDA.
- A talk with the people behind the mobile services across media.
- Light refreshments and the opportunity to informally meet members of Crossroads Copenhagen and others who work with services across media.
